  7. 850,000 Ford and Lincoln Vehicles Recalled

By Kymberly McCalla | July 30, 2025

850,000 Ford and Lincoln Vehicles Recalled

Ford and Lincoln Recall

FORD BRONCO AND LINCOLN AVIATOR RECALL

Ford Motor Company has announced its recall of nearly 850,000 vehicles in the United States due to the possible obstruction of a low-pressure fuel pump issue during the warmer weather. This vehicle recall includes an assortment of specific Ford and Lincoln-identified models that were manufactured between the years 2021 and 2023. If not addressed, these issues can lead to the potential of a crash risk or engine failure. This is putting you and many drivers/passengers at risk of a catastrophic accident.

MAKE AND MODELS AFFECTED:

Ford Models –

  • Broncos (2021-2023)
  • Expeditions (2022)
  • Explorers (2021-2023)
  • F-150 (2021-2022)
  • Mustangs (2021-2022)
  • Super Duty Series: F-250 SD through F-550 (2021-2023)

Lincoln Models –

  • Aviators (2021-2023)
  • Navigators (2021-2023)

WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE FUEL PUMP PROBLEM WITH MY FORD OR LINCOLN?

If your vehicle is experiencing a problem with the fuel pump while driving, pull over and stop the car.

Once safely pulled over:

  1. Turn your hazards on.
  2. Turn your vehicle off and then on.
  3. Navigate throughout your vehicle and find your vehicle’s repair manual.
  4. Identify the symptoms that you were experiencing in the moment.
    1. Some common symptoms of fuel pump problems are:
      • Engine humming
      • Hesitation
      • Loss of power
      • No-start
      • Stalling
      • Incorrect fuel gauge reading
  5. If you or anyone else has been injured or property has been damaged, call 911. If not, call a tow truck.
  6. Call Jones & Swanson for a FREE consultation at (770) 427-5498 to see if you are eligible for compensation.

HOW CAN I GET MY RECALL RESOLVED

If you are an impacted owner and possess any of the vehicles listed above, you can expect to receive a letter in the mail starting July 14th, 2025. Once received, you can then contact an authorized Ford dealer to schedule an evaluation and repair.

You can verify if your vehicle is affected by this recall and any past recalls by entering your VIN on Ford’s website or the NHTSA site. For any questions directly, callers can reach Ford customer service at (866) 436-7332.

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS FOR FUTURE VEHICLE MAINTENANCE

If you want to avoid running into internal or external problems in the future, keep up with the following:

  1. Top off your vehicle’s fluids regularly (power steering, coolant, engine oil, transmission, and windshield wiper fluids).
  2. Pay attention to your brakes.
  3. Examine your tires (rotation, sidewalls, pressure, and tread depth).
  4. Check your lights (headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals).
  5. Schedule a call in advance for your professional inspection.
