A 79-year-old woman was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot when a vehicle backing out of a space struck her in the right leg. The knee replacement surgery would not have been necessary had the victim not been involved in a pedestrian crash.
Fortunately, Mr. Jones was able to receive the maximum limits from the liability carrier. The claim was ultimately settled for $177,500. This amount was deemed satisfactory by the client and she was able to use the funds for her expenses.
