Settlement Reached for Roswell Car Crash Victim

Automobile accidents can be caused from a variety of negligent actions on a driver’s behalf. Some of the most common crashes involve a vehicle rear-ending or t-boning another automobile because they were not paying attention to the road. Others occur when drivers become distracted behind the wheel and swerve into oncoming lanes of traffic. In September of 2012, a similar type of crash occurred when Attorney Andrew Jones’ client was struck by another vehicle whose driver made an improper lane change on Atlanta Street in Roswell, Georgia. The at-fault driver did not use appropriate care by checking his blind spots and as a result struck the 54-year-old woman’s vehicle, causing a crash that totaled her automobile.

Not only did Mr. Jones’ client lose her vehicle in the crash, but she also sustained injuries in the wreck. She was taken to the emergency room at North Fulton Hospital, where she was diagnosed with head, neck and back injuries. Injuries to one’s head are often the most severe types that can occur in a car crash. Our victim’s head injuries did not improve, ultimately causing her job performance and daily abilities to suffer. She will require ongoing medical treatment for the injuries sustained in the Roswell car crash.

Fortunately, Attorney Andrew Jones and his staff were able to obtain a settlement for his client, which she could use to pay medical expenses and replace the wages she lost as a result of the incident.

Oftentimes automobile crashes lead to victims suffering not only because of injuries, but also mentally because their lives are significantly altered. They are accustomed to certain activities and a way of living that may drastically change simply because they were injured in a car crash. In these circumstances, it is possible for monetary compensation to be awarded to the victim once the opposing party is found to be at-fault. Victims may use this reparation to ease the stress of medical bills and ongoing treatment, as well as physical and emotional suffering.
