Jones & Swanson

Announcing Our Newest Partner, M. Chase Swanson

As 2014 comes to a close and a new and exciting year begins, we are pleased to announce that Attorney M. Chase Swanson has been named a partner at the firm as of January 1, 2015. Chase began working for the firm in the summer of 2007 and became a full-time Associate in 2010 upon graduation from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. He practices in all of the firm’s personal injury practice areas and has obtained substantial results for countless clients in automobile, animal attack, and trip/slip and fall injury cases.

Chase is an extremely active member of the Cobb County legal community. He currently serves as the Treasurer of the Cobb County Trial Lawyers Association and is the immediate-past President of the Cobb County Younger Lawyers Division. Chase has also served as Secretary of the Cobb County Trial Lawyers Association, Treasurer of the Cobb County Younger Lawyers Division, and Co-Chair of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association New Lawyers Division.

In addition to these leadership positions, Chase serves on multiple committees throughout the Cobb County community. He has chaired the Cobb Bar Association’s Annual Sleighbells on the Square 5K for the past two years and has assisted in coordinating the Cobb Bar’s Law Day Classic golf tournament, both of which raise money for the Children’s Emergency Fund. Chase is also an active deacon at Marietta First Baptist Church where he currently serves Chairman of the Church’s Financial Oversight Committee.

2014 was an outstanding year for Chase, as he was awarded the prestigious President’s Award by the Cobb County Bar Association for outstanding dedication, service, and hard work, as well as the Ross Adams Younger Lawyer Award. This award recognizes an attorney “who has made a significant contribution to the legal community and the Cobb County Bar Association and who exemplifies the finest characteristics of a younger lawyer.”

We are thrilled to have such a talented and successful attorney as a partner of our firm, which will now become Jones & Swanson, LLC. We are excited for this new partnership and for what 2015 has in store, and wish each of you a wonderful and successful New Year as well!
