Jones & Swanson has proudly supported the Lodge 13 Cops and Kids charity program for over a decade, standing alongside an initiative that continues to make a meaningful impact throughout Metro Atlanta. This incredible community program is dedicated to strengthening connections between local law enforcement and the families they serve, while also providing critical support to children in need.
WHO ARE THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE?
The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), founded in 1915, is dedicated to supporting law enforcement officers at both the state and local levels. The organization provides legal resources, advocacy and representation, professional networking, and charitable community programs. Today, the FOP is one of the largest organizations representing law enforcement in the United States, with more than 350,000 members nationwide.
Our local group, Kermit C. Sanders Lodge #13, is located in Marietta, GA. They serve the Cobb, Douglas, and Paulding County area, and are the largest lodge in Georgia with 1,300+ members.
THEIR RECENT COPS AND KIDS EVENT
On December 4, 2025, Lodge #13 hosted 103 children from 19 Title I elementary schools at the Walmart on Earnest Barrett Pkwy and Powder Springs Rd. These cops provided an enjoyable morning of shopping, playing games, crafts, and eating holiday treats.
This event gave children the chance to shop with one of their Public Safety Personnel for any personal needs and holiday wants!

HOW CAN I SUPPORT THE PROGRAM?
Cops and Kids works year-round to provide essential support to children in need, including school supplies, food, and holiday gifts. Because of the meaningful impact of this program, Jones & Swanson has proudly contributed each year for more than a decade. We encourage others to take the time to get involved as well, whether as a business, an individual, or in honor of someone special. Every contribution makes a difference, and there’s no minimum to participate. Even volunteering your time can have a lasting impact.
